The Atlanta office of a leading national law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with strong title experience. This paralegal will work with a group of attorneys who represent commercial developers, investors, lenders and brokers across the country. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents, title exams and title policies.We are looking for a self-starter with a full understanding of commercial real estate transactions who can multi-task and manage critical deadlines. Responsibilities will include:Drafting loan documents for commercial real estate closings and coordinating closingsPreparing closing packagesPerforming title review and preparing title commitments and title proformasCommunicating with clients to obtain necessary information and updating them regarding status of closingsHandling post-closing matters including preparing title policies, disbursement of funds and recordingsCommercial Real Estate Paralegal must have at least four years of experience in a law firm or commercial real estate title company and possess a four-year degree or paralegal certification. MS Word and Excel proficiency is required.
