Conflicts Administrative Assistant

A leading law firm is seeking a Conflicts Administrative Assistant to support the conflicts department with administrative functions. The role involves initial screening of new business intake forms and lateral candidate questionnaires, along with performing routine administrative tasks using software programs and following detailed procedures. More complex tasks may be assigned under supervision and with appropriate training.ResponsibilitiesConduct initial screening of NBI request forms to ensure proper completion and inclusion of all necessary information.Review lateral candidate questionnaires to confirm proper completion and request additional necessary information.Respond to standard departmental email inquiries or escalate to the appropriate team member.Maintain various trackers, including the Client Terms database, Confidential Client List, and Lateral Candidate Tracker.Assist with data clean-up and closing projects.Create initial redlines on engagement letters and updated client terms for review.Manage ethical wall and Conflict Alert Notice processes.Assist with departmental filing.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.Minimum of two (2) years of law firm experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Ability to plan and coordinate work independently and with others to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.Ability to communicate with attorneys and firm personnel at all levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Willingness to work overtime if needed.Compensation & BenefitsThe firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, 401K, and PTO.
