Here you go! A very nice law firm in Atlanta seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. Our client, an 11 attorney firm, needs your awesome skills. The firm specializes in real estate litigation, civil litigation, employment and appellate. It believes in giving paralegals challenging and sophisticated work.
In this Litigation Legal Assistant role, you will be:
Maintaining client files, electronically and paper form
Drafting routine and specialized correspondence to clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Managing attorneys’ calendars and travel plans
Filing motions, pleadings and other legal documents in state and federal courts
Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings and trials
Potentially serving as part of the trial team for matters supported
The Litigation Legal Assistant has:
At least 3 years Litigation Legal Assistant experience, preferably in a law firm
Civil litigation experience required
Real Estate/Construction litigation experience strongly preferred
College Degree preferred
Civil trial experience preferred
Worldox and Lexis Nexis PCLaw experience a plus
Stable work history
