Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal counsel to clients on estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and wealth transfer strategies.
Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for individuals, families, and businesses.
Offer guidance and support on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
Research and stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and estate planning documents.
Work closely with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide holistic legal advice to clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of estate planning and tax experience.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required.
Expertise in complex trust structures, tax planning, and business succession strategies.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
