A reputable decorating company in Atlanta is seeking a part or full-time decorator. Knowledge of balloon decorating and building classic style is a plus, but we will train. Knowledge of floral décor is also a huge plus! We are in the event industry, so weekends and early morning are required. Candidates are strongly encouraged to have their own transportation and ability to work most Saturdays. We are a high volume and fast paced business. We create balloon décor, floral décor and custom décor across a variety of mediums. We are a small business, so it is not unusual for everyone to answer phones, enter orders and work directly with clients. If you love creating beautiful décor, working with people, and a go-go-go atmosphere, then this would be a good fit for you. We are not currently seeking any event planners or aspiring event planners; this position is for decorators only. The position will begin in January. Please do not call about this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Decorator 2
Reports to: General Manager (Admin duties), Owners
Schedule: Part-time or Full-Time
DUTIES:
Expects to participate in every decoration from initial proposal to breakdown
Assists in pulling and prepping orders per standard procedure
Assists in creation and execution of Balloon Decorations
Delivers balloon bouquets and balloon decorations with strict adherence to driving policies and in a timely manner
Assists in maintenance of décor inventory
Expected to be able to complete simple decorations without assistance
Enter invoices in to Quickbooks online
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and email
Proficient in professional correspondences and communications
Adheres to all Company Procedures and dresses casual but professional on site
Must be able to life 50lbs and stand for several hours
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Become proficient in Quickbooks Online and learn how to enter orders and create proposals
