Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The FSQA Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards & will be responsible for inspecting food products, collecting samples for microbial analysis, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, regulations (like HACCP, GMP, and FSMA), and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, preferably in a meat or protein processing environment, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough quality inspections, sampling & testing on products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
Conduct daily quality checks on incoming materials and finished products, perform routine audits of sanitation, equipment, and labeling, and participate in internal and external audits.
Maintain accurate records for all food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, temperature logs, and lot control.

Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to uphold consistent product quality and safety practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field a plus)
4+ years experience within the same role
Prior experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance, ideally in meat or protein processing
Knowledge of HACCP principles, USDA regulations, and GMP requirements.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a refrigerated production environment for long periods of time.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
