We are seeking Machine Operators for Engine Lathe Operations and Cylindrical Grinding at our Atlanta location, with opportunities available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate lathes, grinders, and plasma equipment to achieve production goals in line with set specifications.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and promptly notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Assist with other tasks as directed by the lead or supervisor.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Strong mechanical knowledge with solid math skills.
Clear and effective communication abilities.
Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
Dependable with strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with coworkers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with manual lathes and grinders.
Familiarity with reading blueprints and using measuring/inspection tools.
Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
