Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable PART-TIME Electromechanical Assembler to join our team, with a specific focus on assembling and installing wiring harnesses.
The candidate will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of electrical components and wiring harnesses. This includes reading schematics, measuring and cutting wire, crimping connectors, soldering, and routing cables according to build specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble wiring harnesses and electrical subassemblies according to schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
Crimp, solder, and terminate wires using hand and power tools
Route and bundle wires and cables neatly using zip ties, loom, and heat-shrink tubing
Inspect work for accuracy, continuity, and workmanship standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification a plus
5+ year experience in electromechanical or electrical assembly, especially building wiring harnesses
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
