We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder Operator to join our team in Griffin, GA. This role involves operating and programming robotic welding equipment, performing manual welding, and ensuring the quality and consistency of fabricated parts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to our culture of teamwork and individual initiative.ResponsibilitiesOperate and program robotic welding equipment efficiently.Perform MIG welding and manual welding during robot cycles as needed.Load and unload materials using hand, overhead jib crane, or forklift.Monitor and adjust machine controls to address programming faults or malfunctions.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.Utilize templates, fixtures, and clamps to align parts for quality production.Conduct preventative maintenance on welding equipment.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years experience in robotic welding and programming.Proficiency in MIG welding and manual welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and overhead cranes.Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.Proficientin accurate reading of measurements -standard and metric.Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Computer skills for programming and operation.Physical ability to walk, stand, kneel, bend, and lift over 50 pounds.BenefitsThree medical plan options to choose from.Dental and vision insurance for comprehensive health coverage.Life insurance, disability, and AD&D coverage for peace of mind.401(k) plan with company match to support your financial future.Swanton Welding & Machining is an equal opportunity employer.
