Position Overview
This is a leadership position supervising property managers who handle day-to-day operations at various office buildings. You'll be responsible for both operational excellence and financial performance across the regional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Supervise and support property managers across multiple office properties on the East Coast
Oversee property operations, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction for the regional portfolio
Provide strategic guidance to on-site property teams regarding staffing, construction, and emerging challenges
Manage and optimize vendor service contracts to maximize cost efficiency
Ensure compliance with lease terms, vendor contracts, and company policies
Financial Leadership
Lead budget planning, variance reporting, and capital improvement initiatives
Guide annual budget preparation and implementation
Verify lease abstracts for accuracy in requirements and rent calculations
Use Yardi to manage operations, budgeting, and reporting with efficiency and accuracy
Tenant Relations
Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Cultivate relationships with major tenants to enhance communication
Serve as primary liaison to the asset management team
Team Leadership
Provide mentorship, training, and leadership to on-site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
Directly oversee property managers within assigned geographic region
Conduct regular performance evaluations
Implement comprehensive training programs for regional property teams
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in commercial property management, with a strong focus on office assets
Proven success leading teams
Strong working knowledge of Yardi property management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Professional designations preferred: RPA, CPM, or MSRE
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to lead with confidence and clarity
A hands-on problem solver who can balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution
Collaborative team mindset
Regional travel required between multiple properties
