Builderstone Global is seeking a Forklift Operator to work at our countertop slab warehouse in Norcross, GA starting pay rate of $18-25/hour based on experience. We are in the business of wholesale of quartz, marble, granite, and quartzite stone products used for countertops, landscaping, and building work. Duties for this position include loading and unloading material with a forklift mainly. We are looking for an energetic person with a neat appearance and a positive attitude. Forklift license and experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for loading and unloading Granite, marble, and Quartz Slabs.
- Assure for the quantity and quality of the outgoing orders.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping duties.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist sales associates and visiting customers.
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Qualifications
- Forklift operation license is mandatory.
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-moving environment.
- Clean and maintain warehouse floor.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be safety minded in all aspects of this job.
- Able to read Bill of Lading/Picking sheets.
- Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
- Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
- Able to lift and transfer 65lbs.
- Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
- Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Able to work at elevated height of 72” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
- Able to work at lowered height of 6” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
- Able to position blocks and ties, straps/chains, and binders for cargo securement.
Job Type: Full-time on W2
Pay: $18-25 / hourly
DRUG TEST WILL BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO HIRING
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Occasionally extra hours might be asked
