About the Position:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Armed Security Officer to join our team. This position requires strong situational awareness, ability to follow instructions provided, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide visible security presence and deterrence for assigned location(s)
Maintain safety and order while delivering professional customer service
Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
Monitor property access and enforce policies
Complete daily activity and incident reports accurately
Handle potential situations requiring handcuff placement or de-escalation with professionalism
Support retail security operations as needed
Requirements:
Previous armed security experience required
Must possess valid state security license and carry permit
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
Preferred:
Retail security or loss prevention experience
Training or certification in handcuff use and defensive tactics
Schedule:
Full-time, permanent position
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience
