Our innovative Fortune 500 client has an excellent opportunity for an AWS Cloud Security Engineer to work on a Full-Time Permanent basis in Atlanta, GA (Sandy Springs/Dunwoody). This client is 100% remote now with plans to be back on site in early 2022 (Post Covid) with remote flexibility. The AWS Cloud Security Engineer will be a key resource responsible for configuring AWS technologies to secure enterprise eCommerce web application software. The salary range is $130,000 - $140,000 per year plus a 25% bonus.

Responsibilities of the AWS Cloud Security Engineer:

• This role sits within the Global Security team and will provide hands-on AWS work to deliver enterprise-grade security solutions to secure eCommerce-based web application software.
• This professional will proactively protect information assets from unauthorized or inappropriate access, use, or disclosure and business disruptions through proper identification and escalation of vulnerabilities.
• Provide web application security, including the configuration of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and other security tools.
• Create, update, and audit AWS cloud security policies, controls, frameworks, and cloud format templates.
• Protects valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data through knowledge of security management, network & protocols, data, application security industry trends, and current and emerging risks
• Reviews cloud security violation reports and investigate possible security exceptions.

Requirements of the AWS Cloud Security Engineer:

• Required 3+ years in an Information Security role with a specialty in AWS Cloud Security engineering/administration
• Must have experience with AWS security tools such as - Amazon GuardDuty and Amazon Inspector
• Experience working in a Cyber or SecOps environment
• Strong understanding of public cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as Service (SaaS) delivery models across AWS.
• Experience with security-related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI, and ISO 27001.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification is preferred
• CCSP, CISSP, or CCSK certifications are preferred
• eCommerce experience is preferred
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is preferred.
• Some experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools (Nexpose, Nessus, Burp) desired
• Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.) preferred.
