Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service
Secures sites and personnel by patrolling property:
Monitor buildings and amenities
Surveillance Equipment
Surveillance access points
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting: Irregularities, informing violators of policies, provides CT’s to trespassers, monitors premises for any violence or infractions.
Preserves order and able to identify and resolve any situation.
Reports any facility issues.
Completes reports by reporting observations and activities.
Required Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
Current/valid Georgia Driver’s License and an insurable driving history
Reliable transportation
Must be able to pass drug screening.
Able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard before end of probationary period.
Conduct duties in a safe and timely manner.
Complete end of shift reports
One-year security experience, military, or law enforcement-a plus
Ability to speak, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
Possesses writing skills to complete daily, incident, accident, and investigative reports.
Public relations skills necessary to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner.
Must be able to accept responsibility, manage authority and maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.
