Now, we’re looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to help us launch, grow, and scale the next great small business.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced operator, founder, or business leader who has successfully built, run, or grown a small business—whether it was a solo venture, a side hustle, or a full-scale operation. It’s okay if the business wasn’t a massive success or even if it failed—what matters is that you’ve been in the trenches, navigated challenges, and learned from the experience.
You understand what it takes to get a business off the ground, manage cash flow, drive sales, and make things happen—whether with limited resources or through rapid scaling. You’re energized by solving problems, making decisions, and executing with urgency.
Your first focus will be on growing PoleHooks.com, a company specializing in innovative hooks that snap onto metal wire shelving, offering versatile organization solutions for homes and businesses.
However, this role is just the beginning. Our goal is to work with you as we acquire additional companies, leveraging your experience to lead and scale larger businesses within our growing portfolio. As you prove your ability to execute and grow a small company, you will have the opportunity to step into leadership roles for the larger businesses we acquire.
This is not a theoretical or advisory role—this is a hands-on opportunity to run and grow a business within our portfolio, with the potential for equity or long-term leadership. What You’ll Be Doing
Lead & grow PoleHooks.com by developing and executing strategies to increase market presence and drive sales.
Manage day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer relationships.
Develop and execute growth strategies to scale revenue, increase profitability, and expand market reach.
Build and lead a team, ensuring strong execution and culture alignment with our core values.
Own financial performance—monitor cash flow, manage P&L, and optimize unit economics.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
Work closely with Mix Tape Ventures leadership to align on strategy, priorities, and long-term vision.
Prepare for larger leadership roles by gaining experience with our growth strategy and operations.

Proven entrepreneurial experience—you’ve built, led, or attempted to scale a business before, no matter how big or small.
