The Operations technology team at Delta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical expertise in engineering software solutions to help build the Next Gen Movement System
Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead technical team and provide guidance and deliver product
Provide Low Level Designs complying with API First design methodologies with supporting documentation
Structure OpenAPI Specifications(Swagger Specs)
Develop AWS Lambda functions
Develop CFTs for AWS resources
Work on NoSQL systems(Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB) to identify potential areas for optimization
Develop automations for application monitoring and alerting
Develop automations for Integration and E2E testing
Provide bugfixes for incorrect implementation and enhancements to handle new requirements.
Work on Java, NodeJs applications, DevOps Automation Scripts(Jenkinsfiles, Ansible Scripts, Unix Shell Scripts)
Work on identifying data issues using RDBMS Tools
Provide automation solutions for alerting using SumoLogic and application logs
Participate in Scrum Ceremonies(Daily standups, Grooming, Planning, Demo, Retro)
Maintain, update and support existing software features and solutions.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Effectively contributes to building the overall knowledge and expertise of the technical team
