This position is for Production Support Role - Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
Job Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring production environments and troubleshooting Customer/System Issues.
* Address tickets related to data or system issues by Customer or Business Groups on day to day basis.
* Collaborate with the development team in Agile Environment.
* Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn
* Provide On-call Support for a week once a month. (Offshore Team is available after 09 PM)
* Scripting and code writing skills needed for utility and Adhoc projects.
* Work closely with development, infrastructure, QA and DBAs teams.
Primary Technical Skill Set(s): Must Have
- 6 years plus experience in relational database structures, SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is a must.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux (AWK & SED) for troubleshooting using logs.
- Proficient in SQL to query complex table(s) using indexes/hints.
- Oracle utilities Sqlplus, Sqlldr, and external tables exposure/experience preferred.
- Proficient using Unix Shell commands, reviewing log files.
- Experience with PL/SQL Developer / Toad / SQL Developer - At least one of these three.
