Overview:
Miracle Nail Salon is seeking a experienced Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of nail care treatment and experience working in a salon. They will be ready to provide an exceptional customer experience on a range of different services. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work while ensuring a safe, relaxing and enjoyable experience for our clients. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements and nail art.
- Perform body waxing services as needed. We offer mostly eyebrows, chin, lips and face, but occasionally wax arms, armpits, legs and back.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Educate clients on proper nail care processes when necessary.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting nail colors that complement their style.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and service offerings.
- Provide excellent and friendly customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Fluent English speaking preferred.
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician.
- Ability to do Manicures, Pedicures and nail enhancements including Full-Set and Fill-Ins with SNS, Acrylic, Gel, Builder and Dipping Powder.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with clients.
- Ability to work diligently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
Pay:
- 1099 Independent contractor
- Commission based with Tips
- You will be paid an industry standard percentage of your total sales
- Payment received every two weeks in check and cash with a sales summary
