Entry level computer technician
Ace Computer Services in Fayetteville, GA is looking for a full-time entry-level technician. Operating since 2011, we are a family-run small business that have built a strong presence in the metro Atlanta area, providing IT services for personal and business clients alike, servicing Mac, PC, Linux, and other software/hardware equipment needs. Our main goal has always been to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers, ensuring their IT needs are met with a smile.
While this position opening is for an entry-level technician providing in-shop repairs for customers, upon showing mastery of the skills required, position is open for advancement to provide on-site support for clients.
Duties include:
- Handling customer interactions over the phone, as well as at the counter
- Laptop/desktop hardware repair
- Mac/PC software troubleshooting
- Mobile device (phone/tablet) repair
- virus/spyware removal
You must have a passion for all things IT, and have a working knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting. While formal education/certification in the IT industry is not required, it will help greatly.
This position is highly customer-relation oriented - you will be responsible for providing a satisfying experience for customers while working on their equipment.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required (some college/college diploma a plus).
- Individual is expected to have some technical understanding of computer software/hardware, with history of basic hardware repairs.
- Knowledge of Windows OS required; MacOS/others a plus.
- Certifications are welcomed but not necessary.
- This job requires frequent phone and in-person communication with customers about their repairs. Good customer service skills are a must.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 40 hours/week
- Ability to carefully disassemble and repair fragile devices
- Ability to lift/carry 50lb. systems
PAY/COMPENSATION
- Starting pay to be $16-20/hour commensurate with experience
