Our company, American Contractors Exam Services, provides EXAM PREP for state contractor candidates. We prepare candidates in a classroom style seminar format over an 8 to 16 hour presentation. All presentations follow a PowerPoint slide deck that we provide and manage.
We are looking for an instructor that:
-is proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
-has an understanding of how to use basic multi-media tools for presenting material (LED projector, laptop, remote, etc)
-has a background in electrical and/or mechanical contracting
-understands construction and general contracting
-is strong in math and can teach/explain somewhat complex formulas
-can articulate well and has a command of the English Language
This position may require some overnight travel and may require you to drive your vehicle to remote locations. You must have a current and valid state-issued driver's license and be able to pass our insurance company's standard DMV background check.
You will be hosting classroom style seminar presentations that will require you:
-to be ready and available by 6:45 am daily to check in and process attendees
-to be able to stand in front of a group of people/attendees and present from 8 am until about 5 pm for three to four consecutive days
-to have a dynamic personality with charisma and patience
We are looking for someone that is interested in a part-time or full-time position. The ideal candidate may be retired and looking for a part-time position that provides a nice supplemental income earned during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
