Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work alone as well as lead a 2-3 person crew on various carpentry projects (residential or commercial)
Perform hands-on carpentry work while overseeing day-to-day operations
Ensure the job site remains organized, clean, and safe at all times
Coordinate project timelines, materials, and workflows to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates
Maintain quality control and ensure the finished product meets company standards
Troubleshoot and problem-solve any challenges that arise during the project
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a carpenter, with a variety of skills in framing, finishing, cabinetry, etc.
Experience managing small teams, with a focus on collaboration and accountability
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, and building plans
Ability to manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously
Knowledge of safety protocols and job site cleanliness
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work attitude
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience
Previous experience in project management or supervising a crew is a plus
Ability to use a variety of carpentry tools and equipment
Excellent communication skills, both with the team and with clients
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work in various weather conditions
