Seeking experienced classic car mechanic:
We are seeking a mechanic who is skilled with classic car repairs. We’re talking 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s [mostly] American vehicles. This is a perfect fit for an older retired mechanic who likes to tinker, or is bored and wants to get out of the house. The right mechanic will be comfortable with rebuilding and tuning carburetors; electrical wiring, removing and installing distributors, reading and setting timing with a light. As well as having the ability to diagnose a no-start condition on a car with a mechanical fuel pump and no OBD2 plug-ins.
This is a part time job; with the possibility to go full time for the right mechanic. If hearing the phrase “check Mitchell for the procedure” means cracking open a book; you’re the mechanic we’re looking for.
