As a Concrete Estimator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the estimating of concrete projects. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless execution of construction plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Key Responsibilities:
. Work with our Senior Estimator to create estimates for concrete foundations
· Meet daily with General Superintendent and Sales Account Manager about scheduling upcoming jobs
· Document and report discrepancies and delays concerning deliveries
· Figure materials for footings, walls, and sub-contractors
· Schedule sub-contractors
· Create and present reports to upper management
· Scheduling future jobs to determine how much work can be done in the upcoming weeks
. Work with our Senior CAD Operator to create plans for our projects.
· Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in concrete construction or a related field is required
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Strong project scheduling and coordination skills
- Excellent time management abilities to meet project deadlines
- Understanding of construction estimating processes and techniques
· Construction estimating experience required
· Strong construction plan reading skills are required (Architecture/Site/Civil Plans)
