The ideal candidate for our Diesel Mechanic position will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel engines, experience with preventative maintenance and the ability to work independently in a team environment. Candidates should be familiar with diesel engines and light-weight vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and fix diesel engine problems.
Repair and install new components in the engine.
Monitor and adjust the performance of the vehicle's engines and related systems.
Install and repair vehicle body parts.
Install and repair vehicles electrical systems.
Maintain the health of the vehicle and its engine.
Ensure that vehicles are compliant with federal laws and regulations.
Explain technical aspects of work to non-technical employees.
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE, FLAT RATE COMPENSATION RANGE $30-$40 BASED ON EXPERIENCE
