Looking for an experienced people for our remodeling crews to start immediately. Must be dependable, highly knowledgeable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Our crew leaders are hands on and work at the jobs.
We are a restoration company doing insurance work and remodels. We currently have over 50 jobs in progress, and this is the norm. We need experienced people to lead and work on our crews. We provide all tools, vehicles, gas and supplies. You will report to our office each morning at 7:00 AM and leave for the assigned jobs. You are paid for drive time to and from the job. You will typically work between 50 and 60 hours per week. We pay contract labor with no taxes being withheld. You get paid every Friday for the previous week. Pay is based on experience, your speed at the job, and quality of workmanship. Highly experienced only apply. We expect all our jobs to be done on time, on budget, and with the highest quality workmanship.
The speed at which you work is very important to us. If you like to move in slow motion, DO NOT APPLY. We are a fast-paced environment.
You should have extensive knowledge in the following areas:
Cabinets: Be able to read 20/20 type diagrams, understand layouts, cabinet item codes and trims
Drywall: Be able to hang and finish drywall
Trim, doors and windows: Know how to measure, cut, and properly install these items
Electrical: Know how to wire switches, outlets, lights, fans, and appliances. Know how to run wire and install gangs.
Plumbing: Know how to install appliances, toilets, sinks, repair water leaks, install valve bodies, must be able to solder pipe, be able to install fiberglass showers and/or tubs and the drains for each, etc.
Tile: Be able to at least install small tile jobs and backsplashes. Being able to do full showers including shower pans is a plus.
Wood and LVT floors: Be able to install these floors and make needed repairs if needed.
Countertops: Be able to install laminate and granite countertops. Being able to fabricate laminate tops is a plus.
Painting: Be able to paint walls, trims, and ceilings, be able to cut in at edges, be able to texture or popcorn ceilings, have knowledge on how to use a spray gun.
Demolition and Mitigation skills
Customer service Skills
Decision making skills and be able to solve job related issues.
