Job Description: Fire System Inspector
Department: Construction
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in commercial service work or construction to join our team and train to be a fire system inspector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing systems to ensure they are in compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the safety of our buildings and protecting lives and property.
Major Responsibilities:
Inspect systems for proper installation and functionality
Conduct regular testing and maintenance of systems
Identify and repair any issues or malfunctions in the system
Document all inspections, tests, and repairs accurately and in a timely manner
Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of fire systems
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to train and become certified
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial service work or construction
Must be or become knowledgeable of fire safety codes and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a vehicle
Must have a valid driver’s license with current insurance
Must be able to pass a background check
