We are seeking a GSE Mechanic/Diesel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Repair, trucks, and other motor vehicles
Specialize diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test components
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license is required
Expected hours: 40 per week
10-year background check for the airport
Previous experience a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline detail-oriented
Ability to drive a tow truck or willingness to learn and service equipment
Fleet maintenance: 5 years (Required)
Gas/Diesel engine repair: 5 years (Required)
Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Required)
Own tools required and knowledge of tools use
