Job Title: Irrigation Foreman

Position Summary: The Irrigation Foreman is responsible for overseeing irrigation installation projects, managing crew members, and ensuring job performance aligns with company standards. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Foreman will focus on achieving project profitability, timely completion, and hitting production targets. Key performance indicators include gross margin on installations, schedule adherence, and crew productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Project Performance/Profitability (Gross Margin on Jobs)
Daily: Track and log expenses in Jobber to maintain accurate cost management.
Weekly: Attend planning meetings to review upcoming jobs and discuss production goals.
Monthly: Conduct project reviews to evaluate job performance and identify improvement opportunities.
2. Ensure Installations Are Completed On Schedule
Daily: Provide progress updates, take installation photos, and document all stages in Jobber.
Weekly: Develop and adjust the project schedule to account for any delays and ensure timely job completion.
Monthly: Debrief with management to review completed projects and address scheduling improvements.
3. Lead Crew to Meet Production Targets
Daily: Order necessary materials, manage task assignments, and supervise the crew on-site.
Weekly: Plan for upcoming installations to align crew capacity with job requirements.
Monthly: Report on crew productivity and capacity to ensure project efficiency.
KPI Focus:
Gross Margin on Jobs: Control project costs to maximize profitability.
Jobs Completed on Schedule: Maintain adherence to project timelines to meet client expectations.
Crew Production Targets: Lead the crew effectively to achieve productivity goals and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in irrigation installation and maintenance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills specific to irrigation projects.
Ability to lead a team effectively, with strong communication skills for client and crew interactions.
Proficiency in managing job documentation, task assignments, and troubleshooting on-site.
