Job Description:
Busy full-service upholstery workroom is growing and adding a key employee as the Lead Upholsterer. This is a supervisory role and will also be hands on in production of custom upholstered furniture.
Candidate should have master level skills in all areas of upholstery recover and new build.
Must have a sharp attention to detail and quality, and understand other important business priorities like schedules, deadlines, profitability and cost savings.
Job Requirements: Must have at least 8+ years of experience and understanding in all aspects of high-end residential and commercial upholstery construction: cut, sew, spec frames, leather, etc.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, and stand on their feet for a large portion of the day.
