About the Role

A local apparel and merchandise company is hiring a Seasonal Embroidery Operator to join our production team during the busy fall and holiday season.

Position Summary

The Embroidery Operator will be responsible for running and maintaining Tajima multi-head embroidery machines, ensuring all jobs meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This is a hands-on production role that requires strong technical embroidery experience and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor Tajima multi-head embroidery machines

Hoop and prepare garments (caps, polos, jackets, fleece, etc.) according to job specs

Load digitized files, select thread colors, and adjust settings as needed

Perform quality checks throughout production (placement, color, density, tension, trims)

Troubleshoot machine issues (thread breaks, needle changes, bobbins, minor maintenance)

Assist with finishing: trimming, steaming, folding, bagging, and boxing completed items

Follow daily production schedules and meet order deadlines

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications

4+ years of experience operating Tajima embroidery machines (required)

Proven ability to manage multi-head embroidery production efficiently

Strong eye for detail and quality control

Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for long periods

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a production environment

Schedule

Seasonal, full-time or part-time hours available

Weekdays with some Saturday shifts during peak season

Overtime opportunities during busy weeks

Compensation

$15–$17/hour, based on experience
