What You’ll Do:
As a Service Mechanic, you’ll help keep our fleet of tools and equipment in top shape while delivering the reliable, friendly service Northside is known for.
Daily Responsibilities:
Perform minor repairs and scheduled maintenance checks on a variety of tools and light equipment
Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and rental-ready
Log equipment condition before and after customer use
Assist with loading/unloading equipment for customers
Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment to ensure safe operation
Follow and promote company safety standards
Pitch in with other team responsibilities as needed—this is a team sport!
What You Bring:
Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
Basic knowledge of construction equipment (you’ve probably fixed a few things in your day)
Ability to use tools and equipment with confidence and care
Friendly, customer-first attitude
Strong communication skills—you explain things clearly and enjoy helping people
Can lift/move 50–70 lbs and stay active throughout the day
High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required)
