We are currently looking to fill the following position.
Position: Assembly Person
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Assemble electrical generator packages, including custom designs.
Proficient use of hand tools such as cordless drills, Stanley knives, rivet guns, skill saws, wrenches, and socket sets.
Utilize a tape measure with high proficiency to ensure precise measurements.
Bolt together wall sections, mount electrical and mechanical equipment.
Drill holes, bolt down frames, rivet steel sections, install insulation and perforated wall sheets.
Pay close attention to detail to maintain high quality standards.
Lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work from ladders for extended periods.
Stand for long periods during assembly tasks.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and participate in in-house safety training.
Requirements:
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in an assembly role.
Trade skills preferred but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of diesel and LPG generators is advantageous but not essential.
High proficiency with tape measures and basic hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and standing for long periods.
