Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and experienced CDL Class- A Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations (mainly southeast) using a tractor-trailer. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will ensure timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.
Duties:
- Safely operate a Manual Transmission tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials
- Truck Driver must be based in the Atlanta, GA metro area-no exceptions!
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other transportation-related documents
Requirements:
- Valid Class-A commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements- Proven minimum 3 years' experience as a Truck Driver
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past 3 years
- - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel overnight if required
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a Drug Screening-NO EXCEPTIONS! Also, must be a Non-Smoker!
