Looking for a Box truck driver (CDL required). Must have previous experience and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision and be proficient at performing Pre trips/Post trips and ELD (Electronic Logging Device) IAW with all local and federal laws. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean driving record. Must be safety minded and practice safety IAW with OSHA standards. Job requires drivers to track and record all loads/hours and effectively communicate with dispatcher as well as customer. Requires experience in using Pallet jack and liftgate. Monday through Friday and occasionally work on Saturdays. Pay is negotiable according to experience. Drivers must have on transportation to and from the truck. Job requires some nights away from Home station. Twic/TSA badge required for airport freight pick-up and delivery.
Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries, Pick-up loads, organize goods in the truck, and secure packages.
Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination.
Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients.
Communicate with dispatch as needed.
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Track and report working hours
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
