We are seeking Delivery Drivers and Helpers to join our team! You will work as a team with Driver and Delivery Driver to pick-up from warehouse and deliver and assemble furniture and other household items. Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with partner. This involves ensuring the timely delivery of products, maintaining the truck in good working condition, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers and Helpers are required to load and unload merchandise, ensure that deliveries are accurate, and follow all safety regulations and company policies. Contract with Ashley Furniture, Crate and Barrel, and Williams Sonoma.
Locations Norcross, College Park, Braselton
Pay:
Driver compensation: $170 Daily
Driver Helper compensation: $135 Daily
​Responsibilities:
Driver: Experience with driving 26 ft box Truck
Driver and Helper:
Deliver and assemble products to customer locations in a timely manner
5 days a week up to 8-12 or more hours certain days.
Assist in inspecting merchandise and loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Ability to assist Driver with maneuvering in tight and narrow spaces.
Ability to lift up to 150 pounds with partner.
Use navigation system to select the best routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, invoices, and logs.
Interact with customers in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction with timely and correct deliveries.
Maintain a clean truck and promote safety in all driving practices, including seatbelt use and proper cargo securing.
​Qualifications:
Experience in delivery assistance, customer service, or other related fields
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with furniture assembly and/or appliance installation
Ability to handle physical workload and basic tools used for assembly.
Good communication.
Ability to pass background and drug test.
