JayOne Logistics LLC is seeking reliable, high-energy self-starters to serve as independent delivery drivers for small packages. If you have a dependable vehicle and enjoy setting your own schedule, this opportunity is for you.
You will deliver packages to residential homes and businesses, typically working seven days a week. Your average delivery day will range from four to eight hours, depending on your assigned route and the number of packages. It is essential to deliver all packages on the same day they are assigned and to confirm delivery by taking a picture of each delivered package at the delivery address.
This system ensures our customers receive their packages promptly, maintaining a high standard of service. We offer competitive rates and a structured schedule that can benefit your independent contracting business.
Full-Time Position: The job begins immediately following your onboarding and background check.
Pay: $2.20 per package
$2.00 per package delivered
Additional $0.20 per package to cover weekly liability insurance of $1 million and occupational accident insurance
Direct Deposit: Payments are made weekly; however, the first payment will be delayed by two weeks.
Average Delivery Load: 50-150 packages.
Schedule: The warehouse operates seven days a week, with hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.
Responsibilities:
Pick up packages at the warehouse
Deliver to assigned zip codes
Communicate effectively with the team leader/dispatcher
Navigate to multiple destinations
Utilize critical thinking skills to solve issues on the go
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Your own vehicle (a larger car can carry more packages, which means more earnings)
Physical ability to handle packages (average weight is between 10-60 lbs)
A smartphone with internet access and a camera
