Non-Emergency Transportation Service company looking for driver located in the Atlanta, Decatur, or Stone Mountain area to train and start immediately.
What we do: We transport patients to and from doctor's appointments, dialysis appointments, therapy treatments and/or to recreational outings. We provide services to patients in rehabilitation facilities as well as patients in their own homes.
Hours vary from day to day, based on customer requirements. Some weekend and night work may be required; may also require early hour or late afternoon trips.
You will be driving a wheelchair van (no CDL required)
Driving experience is preferred but not required.
Customer service experience is a must.
Must wear company shirts (provided by the company)
Duties:
- Drive clients to medical appointments on client's schedule using company vehicle
- Provide door-to-door service for clients, including assisting clients into and out of vehicles and in and out of facilities
- Assist wheelchair-bound clients into vehicles, securing them for transport
- Maintain vehicles - Keep clean, keep stocked, inspect for mechanical repair requirements
-Assist with stretcher transports
-No schedule limitations
NO PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS THAT WOULD PREVENT PERFORMANCE OF THE DUTIES LISTED ABOVE.
Requirements:
-Applicants must be at least 28 years of age
-Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Degree (GED)
-Previous experience transporting patients is helpful but not required.
-IF YOU DON'T HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE TRANSPORTING PATIENTS, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO OUR CLIENTS WE SERVE.
-Applicants must have a clean driving record. (You will be required to submit a 3 year MVR)
-Applicants must have a clear criminal background. (You will be required to submit a background check)
No convictions for crimes of violence, substance abuse, theft, or of a sexual nature
-Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen.
-Applicants must have reliable transportation (must be able to get to and from the company vehicle)
-Applicants must have a cell phone
-Applicants must have good communication skills with patients, staff members, and employees
-Applicants must maintain a professional image in accordance with company standards
