Locations: Georgia (Fulton, Dekalb, & Gwinnett) and Florida (Duval, Clay, & Nassau counties)
Position: NEMT Driver
Pay: $15/hour for ambulatory drivers, $16/hour for wheelchair drivers
Happy Trails Transportation is seeking responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers. If you have a passion for helping others and a strong driving record, we encourage you to apply!
Job Requirements:
Must be 24 years or older
Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
No license suspensions in the last 5 years
Must hold a valid driver’s license from Florida, Georgia, or Alabama
Must provide a DOT Medical Exam certificate
Must pass a HIPAA certification class
Must pass a 10-panel drug test (paid by Happy Trails)
Must pass a 7-year National and County Criminal background check (No felonies or misdemeanors involving violent crimes or drugs - paid by Happy Trails)
Must complete the following online training courses (paid by Happy Trails):
Defensive Driving
CPR/First Aid
Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (P.A.S.S) Certification
Medicaid/Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training
