Job Title: ServiceNow Developer / Admin (Remote Locals required)
Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA)
Duration: 6 Months+
Job Type: Corp-Corp / 1099 / W2 Contract
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications;
Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes;
Understand how ServiceNow can enable the client to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits;
Coordinate application and platform upgrades;
Develop systems integrations and process automation;
Configure and maintain SLA, catalog items and their associated workflows;
General support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications;
Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Experience with other ITSM software (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, HP, etc.)
System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, n
Network protocols, and IP networks
Strong communication, Strong presentation and writing skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications
Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery and Orchestration and other applications like ServiceWatch, GRC etc.
Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow
Create and manage scripts and workflow.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB
Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system
Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes.
Experience with ServiceNow's ServiceWatch and/or Discovery tools Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher);
A minimum of 2 years of related work experience;
Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge
Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification preferred;
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems;
Exceptional customer service skills;
Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria;
ITIL v3 Certification;
Ability to analyze raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful
documentation of testing scenarios and results;
3-5 years' experience with ServiceNow administration;
Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow,
monitoring tools, and ITIL processes;
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer;
Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues;
