Riverview Psychiatric Center (https://www.maine.gov/dhhs/riverview) is seeking a Habilitation Aide to provide paraprofessional work in implementing programs and activities of an educational, rehabilitative, or recreational nature for patients and residents in our facility under the direction and supervision of professional staff. Responsibilities include preparing, implementing, and overseeing individual and/or group activities of an habilitative nature for patients/residents; training, supervising, and providing support to patients/residents participating in programs or activities; observing and recording observations related to patient/resident attendance, participation level, behavior, and progress; and reporting observations to professional staff.Agency information:The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is dedicated to promoting health, safety, resilience, and opportunity for Maine people.
