Our careers include manufacturing, engineering, procurement, supply chain, finance, HR, product development, sales, marketing and an ever-expanding array of others to support our continuing rapid growth.Job Title: Buyer/PlannerPosition Summary: To plan, coordinate, purchase and manage inventory levels for all inventory and non-inventory purchased items for the Bremen GA facility.Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:Leads S&OP and planning processes for WNA Food Service Bremen.Ensures sixty day target inventories on key products.Ensures continuity of supply for all products.Ensures forward capacity issues are communicated and addressed with preventive actions.Defines constraints and potential solutions.Monitors tooling refurbishment needs and scheduling.Ensures early warning communications on product availability issues to all key stakeholders.Responsible for data integrity of IFS production planning parameters.Responsible for purchasing of material and services required to support the production schedule, site needs and product forecasts.Secure quotes from suppliers for new material requirements.Monitor supplier performance and inventories in relation to open purchase orders.Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, site and division.Maintains professional competence, knowledge and skill to satisfactorily perform all assigned responsibilities.Prepare and follow up and material deliveries from supplier to plant location Order follow up to ensure timely delivery to support daily production and sales.Prepare and follow up and material deliveries from supplier to plant locationWorks with suppliers on any required reworks or returns on quality issues.Other duties as assigned.Adhere to all GFSI standards policies and procedures for product Safety, Quality and LegalityAdhere to and enforce procedures in regards to Food Defense and HACCPCandidate Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
