Test Center Proctor Posting Number C00373JP Department Test Center Job Summary The Test Center Proctor is responsible for greeting students, making sure the test center is set up appropriately based on student needs, and monitoring test administration following established guidelines. Test Center Proctors must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all aspects of the testing processKey responsibilities include:

Checking students in and out of the test center.

Monitoring students and test center environment to ensure assessments are completed within the guidelines set forth.

General office tasks (i.e., email and phone communications, general maintenance, supply ordering)

Other tasks to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the test center.

Protecting the privacy of all test-takers and ensuring that personal information, test results, and any test-related data are handled securely and only shared with authorized personnel.

Keeping test content, procedures, and materials confidential, ensuring that no information is disclosed or discussed outside the testing environment.

Reporting any breaches of confidentiality or security protocols to supervisor immediately.

Hourly Pay rate: $18.00/per hour Education/Skills Requirements Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to use good judgement.

Maintaining strict confidentiality with all test materials and personal information.

Strong customer service orientation with positive, friendly, helpful attitude is a must!

Strong problem solving skills.

Ability to follow written and oral direction.

Capable of handling unexpected situations calmly and effectively, including dealing with violations of test rules or technical issues.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, such as checking IDs, distributing test materials, and tracking test-takers.

Preferred:

Knowledge of test center software and/or adaptive technology is preferred.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Prior experience in a customer facing role or related experience.

Preferred:

Prior experience working in a test center environment.

Prior experience working with students in a classroom or similar setting.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Various shifts available in throughout the standard work week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, with some occasional evening hours.

This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position working less than 20 hours/ week.
