Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team based in Chamblee, Georgia. In this role, you will be an integral part of our finance team, managing both receivable and payable accounts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle all facets of accounts receivable, including processing daily invoices and completing financial transactions on a daily basis. Execute day-to-day financial transactions such as verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data. Maintain and update accounts receivable customer files and records. Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments as needed. Prepare billings and bank deposits in a timely manner. Reconcile and resolve clients' billing issues efficiently. Contribute to monthly and yearly closing activities. Assist in executing accounts payable tasks, ensuring all payments are accurate and timely. Review invoices and check requests for accounts payable. Match invoices to purchase orders, process check requests, set invoices up for payment, and respond to vendor inquiries about payment issues related to accounts payable. Document all transactions and submit reports to senior managers.Requirements Proficient knowledge of Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Sound understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Expertise in Billing Functions Ability to handle Cash Activity accurately Experience in Cash Handling Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
