The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26ft box truck to deliver household goods to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle deliveries, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26 ft box truck for multi-stop delivery routes.
Load product for delivery. Mulch, Doors, cabinets, patio doors, lawn mowers, flooring , paint, tool boxes.
No tools required, No Installation Necessary. Drop off only.
Use of app to provide Proof of Delivery to customers & client.
Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of product using lift gates and other equipment.
Utilize handheld devices to confirm delivery and maintain accurate documentation
Provide outstanding customer service to builders, homeowners, and delivery customers by addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain a safe, accident-free work environment by following company safety standards.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
Respond appropriately to on-road emergencies and incidents in line with company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with driving and the use of gps to locate customers for delivery.
Previous experience delivering and installing appliances, preferred
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
Experience driving appliance delivery trucks and performing multi-stop routes preferred
Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting and moving items weighing 100 lbs.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical exams and drug tests.
Team player with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in dynamic environments.
