We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Repair Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our mobile home park. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of repair and maintenance knowledge, including carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting. This position requires availability to be on call for any maintenance issues that may arise on the property.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and complete work orders for various maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems and equipment are functioning properly, when necessary.
Handle basic carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks to keep the property and homes in good condition.
Address emergency repairs promptly and efficiently, as this position requires on-call availability.
Collaborate with management to maintain the property, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents.
Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
Monitor and maintain the exterior areas and common grounds of the property as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in mobile home parks or residential properties.
Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle a variety of repairs.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
Must be available to respond to on-call requests for repairs.
