Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Columbus. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, impeccable organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively. This role requires someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in safe, working condition.
Receive merchandise from shipping carriers, verifying that it matches purchase orders exactly.
Organize merchandise for residential and commercial jobs.
Assemble and hang lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and other merchandise in the showroom.
Deliver merchandise to clients as necessary.
Insure outbound orders are accurate, invoiced, or paid in full.
Update sales staff on order status, including back orders.
Maintain an accurate inventory, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient for business needs. - Provide a safe workplace for all team members.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; an Associate's Degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Basic electrical knowledge is required to handle lighting fixtures and ceiling fans.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail is critical for maintaining inventory accuracy and order fulfillment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Well organized, able to prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills are necessary for addressing challenges as they arise.
Compensation:
$30,000/Year
