Role Overview

The Channel Sales Operations Advisor will analyze all Channel Business needs and work with cross-functional teams to operationalize the processes.

You will manage multiple tasks and functions with limited supervision and provide input on current processes, make recommendations on improvements (to increase efficiency and revenue effectiveness of our channel programs), and provide ongoing support for ad-hoc projects. To accomplish this, as the Channel Sales Operations Advisor you will act as a liaison between Sales/Sales Management, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology groups working closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts to document business processes, identify business requirements, project manage initiatives and drive adoption of new processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the ideation, development, implementation and adoption of process enhancements to improve the partner experience
  • Understand and become functional expert in all components of the Secureworks channel sales strategy and operations, including Deal Registration and Partner Lifecycle Management
  • Develop process improvements for onboarding new partners in Secureworks business systems
  • Develop strong cross functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders


Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Channel Sales Operations within an IT security or IT software company
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with sales tools and technologies (Salesforce.com, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years working in Excel and Tableau reporting platforms
  • Minimum of 4 years creating and driving change initiatives to current business processes and developing improvement projects that have not been specifically requested and selling the ROI for a project that may not be initially understood by others


Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years related experience within a professional services, sales, or customer support operations role
  • Previous working experience with Channel Sales-oriented data within a Channel Sales organization
  • Experience with SalesForce.com - Sales Cloud and Community Cloud
  • Experience with large data sets and turning them into insights
