Description We are in search of a Logistics Clerk to join our team in Dalton, Georgia. This role primarily involves managing customer interactions and maintaining efficient shipping and receiving processes within our operations. Responsibilities: Answering phone calls and providing assistance to customer inquiries Processing work orders and ensuring accurate record keeping Coordinating shipping and receiving activities, specifically for small parts weighing 5lbs or less Maintaining an organized inventory and ensuring shelves are well-stocked, neat, and clean Utilizing CRM tools for customer service management and communication Proactively communicating with customers about stock availability Assisting in re-stocking activities to ensure continuous workflow Ensuring a clean and neat workspace by organizing inventory regularly Supporting other team members in maintaining an efficient logistics operation. Requirements Must have a minimum of one year experience in a similar role or logistics-related field Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service is required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary Must be adept at handling work orders and shipping functions Experience in re-stocking and maintaining stock availability is a plus Must have a customer-focused attitude and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work in a team and contribute positively to the team dynamics.
