Title: System Administrator & Developer V

Duration: Contract

Location: Duluth, GA

Job Function and Responsibility

• Design and develop software with high quality
• Perform to the architectural design of new features
• Develop new features on time and with high quality
• Ensure compliance with IT policy/standard to design and architecture of new features
• Support site installation, configuration and administration of Global Engineering application.
• Development of technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Creating training materials along with Business analyst
• Facilitate and contribute to planning and assessment meetings
• Resolves complex, up to and including, third-tier system problems.
• Programs complex, non-standard system interfaces and configurations using own code.
• Partner with technical and business resources to support the product life cycle from Idea Generation through Completion.
• Prepare all necessary deliverables for compliance with IT Project Management process.
• Plan, prepare and execute system, product, acceptance and operational readiness testing. Create test approaches, conditions, cycles, scripts, environments.

Functional & Technical Skills

• Formal IT methodology experience is required.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• 2-3 years of experience in application development using any continuous integration/deployment platform (CI/CD)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly
• Excellent development skills in Dot Net (C sharp)
• 2-3 years of experience developing and testing using Java SE, C, XML
• 2-3 years of AWS services experience (S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift)
• 2-3 years of experience developing, installing and supporting web or client server application in a global cloud environment
• Experience with MPP Databases i.e. Athena, Redshift, Mongo Db and PostgreSQL
• Detailed knowledge of the following:
• o IT change management process
• o Problem management procedures
• o Multiple business process from an IT perspective.
• Good working knowledge of the following:
• o Day-to-day operational environment locally, regionally, and globally
• o The roles and responsibilities of the key IT staff members regionally and globally
• o IT vendor management
• o Basic Project Management.

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
• Ability to address and resolve issues in an objective, fact-based, professional fashion.
• Ability to inspire confidence in project sponsors, owners and participants.
• Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured agreed, accepted, and implemented.

Qualifications and Experience

Required

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar.
• 2-4 years of experience in application development (cross-platform)
• Industrial automotive, construction, agriculture equipment experiences preferred.
• Agriculture Industry Experience is a plus.
• English both written and spoken
• Global Company experience is a plus
