IT MAC\PC Support and Jr Admin
End User Support Specialist – This role is supporting end users in a fast paced and creative driven environment where you will need to continually analyze our current end point systems and assets to recommend and implement solutions and upgrades along with daily IT maintenance tasks and requests. From day one, you will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth as we expand our IT departments operational efficiencies and positive impact on the business. This is an in the office full time position supporting our end user community.

Objectives of this Role
  • Provide Google Application Suite Support
  • Provide MAC and Adobe Creative Cloud application and data support
  • Maintain and troubleshoot essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, email, laptops, desktops, printers, software, and hardware
  • Investigate user system slowdowns, bottlenecks, and work stoppages
  • Own your projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration as necessary
  • Set up new hires with computer, hardware and access to systems
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Continual research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
  • Manage the workload of end user requests via ticket/project management system
  • Act as NetSuite administrator (training will be provided if necessary)

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Understand company needs to identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to help inform business decisions within the IT needs
  • Ensure networked end points components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed in conjunction with this training
  • Understand disaster procedures, and maintain and monitor data backups

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of IT experience
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience with Systems and management
  • Additional experience managing Information Technology Inventory, or Network Administration understanding is also a plus
  • Backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft (Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems) and MAC operating systems
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking, wireless end point support
  • Ability to set up and configure Windows PC and MAC hardware
  • Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of systems
  • Experience with security software setup and remediation
  • Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
  • Experience with purchasing of PC and MAC systems
  • Experience and understanding of all necessary peripherals for end user equipment
  • Experience with PIM software is a plus
  • Google Application experience
